IGNOU MA Psychology Admissions Procedure
Before, students could apply for IGNOU MA Psychology admission either in person or online. But now, the only way to get into the M.A. Psychology program is to apply online.
- They have pushed the deadline to turn in the assignments back to November 30, 2022.
- IGNOU MAPC Admission 2022–2023 for the July cycle has begun. The last date for registration is 15 November 2022.
- Students who have already signed up for the MAPC course at IGNOU can sign up again from July 2022 to Sep 30, 2022.
IGNOU MA Psychology Admissions for 2022-23
IGNOU University’s M.A. Programs include several specializations. At the P.G. level, the program you can take is a Master of Arts in Psychology. At IGNOU, two rounds of course enrollment are for the January and July sessions.
In particular, the MAPC courses are for people who graduated from a recognised university. So, to sign up for the same, you must have a U.G. degree. Aside from this, the selection is based only on who is eligible and who fills out the application form. For the IGNOU MAPC course, the University will not give an entrance exam.

IGNOU Masters in Psychology Eligibility Criteria
For IGNOU MA Psychology, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in any field.
The full course costs Rs. 18600/-, which must be paid in annual installments of Rs. 9300/-. There is also a Rs. 300/- registration fee. The program fee should only be paid online with a debit card or credit card. Once the fee is paid, it can’t be taken back.
IGNOU MA Study Material for Psychology
The Indira Gandhi National Open University sends students their study materials and assignment booklets by registered mail to the address they put on their application form. The University sends IGNOU MA Psychology study materials for each course, and books for each course are sent in a separate package. If the student doesn’t get the study materials and assignments booklet at the address given; can contact the MPDD division or submit a request on IGRAM portal.
IGNOU MAPC Assignments
IGNOU has put out the assignments for the M.A. Psychology program. Learners who sign up for any MAPC course must submit their homework by the due date. MAPC assignments count for 30% of the whole year’s grade. One has to write their assignments.
Before taking an exam in any course, you must fill out the Examination Form. For the TEE session, pay Rs 200 per course.
After the University gets the exam forms, it will send the hall ticket to the student before the exam.

Declaration of M.A. Psychology: Results
Usually, university takes a minimum of 45 days to upload the result on the official website.
If a student isn’t happy with the marks or grades they got on the Term-End Examination, they can ask for a reevaluation within one month of the results being posted on the University’s website. They will have to pay Rs 750 via online. After revaluation, the student’s records will be changed to show the better of the original marks/grades and the new marks/grades.
