Click on my applications menu.
If your IGNOU admission hasn’t been approved yet, contact the admission department for support.
Your next step is to download your ID card by enrolment number.
Notes: Make sure you don’t have any errors on the portal, If you find any discrepancy, move to the admission Discrepancy menu and resolve the error.

Online result copy: An online copy of the result is not valid. You get an error on the admission dashboard when you upload a net copy result. You can get original documents from the DIGILOCKER if you don’t have them.
Fake board mark sheet: Don’t upload fake or non-recognized board documents. Else University will reject your application.

Experience certificate: some courses are required additional documents which is experience certificate, without having this you cannot apply.
Note: Experience certificate is not required in all courses.

How to cancel the IGNOU Admission Form?
To cancel your IGNOU admission, you can follow the steps below:
Visit the official website of Samarth portal https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in/
Enter username and password.
Click on login
Click on ‘my application menu,’
On the next page, click on the Cancel Admission option.
They will process the cancellation and then credit the refund (if applicable) to your bank account within a few working days.
Note: It is important to cancel your admission before the last date to avoid any penalty or additional charges.

If a candidate want to apply for cancellation of application form and refund of fee, the refund request will be considered as per the IGNOU policy as under:
1. Before approval of admission: Full refunded.
Within 15 days of admission approval: course Fee refunded after deduction of 500
Within 16-90 days of admission approval: Programme Fee paid shall be refunded after deduction of Rs.1000.
After 90 days of confirmation of admission: No refund, for more information, check the Common Prospectus.
How to get the IGNOU enrollment number
IGNOU is a distance education university. It has a unique enrollment number, which is 9 to 10 digits.
You can find the student enrollment number on the Identity card or student management system page.
What is the control number in IGNOU?
IGNOU control number is an 11-digit unique number provided by the university to individual students after paying online admission fees and examination fees.
The control number is used to identify the student data in the system.
Previously, we used to find IGNOU admission status by control number, but now this facility is unavailable in the new Samarth portal.

If admission status is showing cancelled ,your admission fees will be refund to the same account Rs 200 processing fees will be charged.
